Because of the continuing drop in manufacturing unit volume over the years, Humidity Source will stop manufacturing all centrifugal atomizing mist type humidifiers, effective immediately.

We will continue to promote, stock and sell our Electrovap steam humidifiers, model BUS compressed air nozzles and electric ultrasonic UH model mist type humidifiers.

The UH-300, UH-301 and UH-303 models will replace the centrifugal atomizing type in most cases. These high-tech ELECTRIC ULTRASONIC units are superior in many ways to anything else on the market. They are smooth operating and very quiet, and use little electric power.

SF-5 Photo

FOR IN-SPACE APPLICATIONS

Models SF-5 and SW-5 produce up to 5 lbs./hr. of water mist and come with (SF-5) and without (SW-5) inlet air filters. Air filters are recommended where industrial dust is present in the air. Three dispensing domes are available providing 360 degree, two-way or one-way directional discharge of water mist.

SW-2 Photo

FOR RETURN DUCT APPLICATIONS

The Model SW-2 will produce up to 2 lbs./hr. of water mist. Water mist is created by centrifugal force from a simple high speed rotating disk and an internal fan dispensing a stream of fine moisture particles which travels only a few feet before emistating completely into the surrounding atmosphere. The rotating disk is carefully balanced to insure quiet and dependable operation over its long life. The directional dome may be rotated to any position for convenience of installation.

This unit is ideal for small, well-enclosed room like tobacco humidors or larger rooms where small amounts of humidification would be beneficial. Specifications (530 KB). Installation Sheets (337 KB).

FOR IN-SPACE APPLICATIONS

The Humidity Source Model SF-10 or SW-10 is capable of producing up to 10 lbs./hr. of water mist. Three dispensing domes are available providing 360 degree, two way, or one way directional discharge of water mist particles. With the addition of the Humidity Source heavy duty primary air intake filter (not shown) the Model SF-10 is especially recommended for applications in which the air is laden with industrial dust.

FOR RETURN DUCT APPLICATIONS

The Model WF-225 has capacity of 3.5 lbs./hr. and is designed for return duct applications. A quiet heavy duty integral fan is used to overcome static resistance and discharges water mist through a 2 7/16 inch tube into the air duct. A heavy gauge mounting bracket secures the humidifier to the duct simplifing installation.

FOR IN-DUCT APPLICATIONS

The Model WF-HP-226 produces up to 3 lbs./hr. of water mist and is designed for small sized duct installations. A 2 in. diameter air intake tube plus the integral fan overcomes any static air pressure in the duct. Water mist particles from the centrifugal atomizer unit are forced by the fan through a 2 7/16 in. tube, into the duct and carried with the air flow where the particles are completely absorbed in a short distance.

FOR IN-DUCT APPLICATIONS

The Model WJ-228 can provide up to 12 lbs./hr. of water mist. The atomizing section rests in a water reservoir mounted in the bottom of a horizontal duct. Air passes over and around the atomizer with little resistance.

The moisture will emistate into the duct air lowering the air temperature due to latent heat of emistation. The amount duct cooling and distance for mist absorption will depend upon inlet air humidity and temperature.

Typical applications include offices, laboratories and production spaces which are served by air quantities of more than 1200 cfm and where relative humidity as high as 50% is required. Specifications (259 KB). Installation Sheets (465 KB).

The Model WF-HH-229 has a capacity of 2 lbs./hr. and is especially designed to mount through a wall for small room applications. As in all Humidity Source centrifugal atomizing humidifiers, a built in fan discharges mist through a 2 7/16 in. tube which extends through the wall and into the room.

FOR IN DUCT APPLICATIONS

Models WT and WT-B can provide up to 24 pounds of water mist per hour. The atomizing section rests in a small water reservoir suspended under or mounted in the bottom of a horizontal duct run and air passes over and around the atomizer producing negligible static pressure.

The moisture will emistate into the duct air and its latent heat of mistization will depress the dry bulb temperature of the duct air. The amount will depend upon the moisture and air quantities.
